  13. -> I have an Adaptec 1542B. I also have an Ultrastor 14F. The Adaptec is
  14. -> hands down winner. The Adaptec card and ASPI manager are much more
  15. -> configurable to tweak best performance from your system. Also, the
  16. -> Adaptec is being directly supported by OS/2 and WIN NT - with
  17. -> Ultrastor you have to wait until they develop drivers for these
  18. -> programs - they will, but they are slow to release them. The Adaptec
  19. -> can be configured to run 30% faster than the Ultrastor on my system.
