  23.   I've run a 1542A for the last couple of years.  The controller
  24. currently drives two 330MB drives, a Pioneer DRM-600 6-disk CD-ROM
  25. jukebox, and an Archive Viper 2150 tape drive.
  26.  
  27.   The A will NOT support >1GB drives under DOS, and is SCSI I.  Adaptec
  28. software supports the A, including the current ASPI4DOS and ASPIDISK
  29. drivers.
  30.  
  31.   The B will support >1GB drives (with a pair of revised ROMs), and is
  32. (I believe) SCSI II.
