- Hi, I am a SCSI novice and I decided to add a second SCSI drive to
- a PC which already has a single SCSI drive in it. The PC has a
- ST-02 controller card in it and assuming that I correctly jumper the
- second drive to respond to the next open SCSI address, do I need
- any special software to format and/or partition the new scsi drive?
-
- I did not get any software with either the original controller & drive
- and I did not get any software with the second drive. When I install
- it, I can not format of "FDISK" it. The system says "Unrecognized or
- invallid device d:"
-
- PS - During boot, the bios does report "2 scsi devices found", so I am
- pretty comfortable taht they are jumpered correctly.
-
- Thanks in advance for any help you can render.
