- I am interested in picking up a SCSI controller for my ISA 486 PC. I am mainly
- interested in getting a controller that will leave as many options open as
- possible with respect to the operating system I happen to be running.
-
- If I could have it all, I would like the controller to run under DOS5, OS/2,
- Linux, BSD386, SCO, etc. Unfortunately I don't know of the technical
- differences between some of the major contollers (say Adaptec 152x vs 154x). I
- guess you could say that I am basically looking for a controller that is the
- 'most' compatable.
-
- Can someone point me in the right direction, or provide comments and/or
- experiences - good or bad.
-
- Thanks,
-
