  13. Please excuse me if this is inappropriate for this newsgroup, but it is the only
  14. newsgroup on our server that addresses SCSI.

  16. I'll be purchasing a new system in the very near future with intent of running
  17. BSD386.  I plan on purchasing a 486-xx EISA/VL bus system with all the other
  18. goodies.   My understanding is that the "safest" SCSI interface adapter for BSD
  19. is the Adaptec 1542.

  21. Does anybody have such an adapter that they wish to sell?  Please respond via 
  22. email.
