  13. I have an Archive Viper 2150S tape drive and I'm curious about the
  14. buffer size switch settings.  The manual (rather, sheet) says the
  15. switches control the size of the largest block that can be sent before
  16. disconnect.  What exactly does this mean?  Does it mean that the drive
  17. will not disconnect until a block of that size is received?
  18.  
  19. In any case, what would be a good value for this setting?  It goes
  20. from 2K, 4K, 8K, 16K, and 32K and some others that I can't remember.
  21. Since I have the option, I'd like to make the drive reasonably fast
  22. without bogging down my SCSI harddisk.
