- OK, I wimped out. Dave Platt wrote to me saying that I'd probably have to
- pop open the ink cartridge, carefully wash, and completely dry the sponge
- before impregnating it with the new permanent marker ink or the reaction of
- solvent and water would gum up the nozzles. Since I couldn't easily remove
- the green top of the cartridge and didn't want to ruin a $25 investment over
- a small matter, I went out and bought Shaeffer Scrip ink (black, in a RED
- box instead of a yellow one like the FAQ described; $3.80). The new ink has
- been successful so far.
