- John,
-
- VisiCom Laboratories did this about 2 years ago. X and MOTIF
- standard distributions are available for X11R4 and X11R5 (soon).
- Since we had done several previous port of X the move to
- vxWorks was relatively easy. The main problems were in the
- "environmental assumptions about UNIX" which implicit in
- the prototype code from MIT and OSF.
-
- Now, the product uses client code which is written for any
- level of X (Xlib,Xtoolkit,Athena,MOTIF) and will handle
- code generated by most of the GUI builders.
-
- It is in use by several hardware OEMs for use in their custom
- products. It is available now for 68K, SPARC targets.
-
- It has a full X server implementation as well as support for
- several different hardware display adapters.
