- verify what has been an implicit assumption in this thread: that the
- reserved first word on the stack and VACX$ESTABLISH are
- purely for setjmp/longjmp support. That is, if I avoid setjmp/longjmp,
- either by never unwinding the stack or by using SYS$UNWIND to do so,
- can I safely use LIB$ESTABLISH in a VAX C program?
