- Email goes places nothing else does. Without trying to extract you
- network topology I wont even start guessing but you need a common
- protocol stack all the way from your system to his for any of the
- interactive talk programs I have seen to work.

- Mail to mail gateways though are everywhere. talk with your local
- network or systems manager or their consultants for the gorey details
- in your enviornemnt. They might even be able to spot a common protocol stack.
