- User NRA%uk.ac.kcl.ph.ipg@ukacrl.bitnet asked for a means
- to dial a U.S. 1-800 number from a U.K. telephone. If the
- number was issued by AT&T, you can if the 800 number
- company would accept a collect call.
-
- The number from the U.K. to call is 0800 890011
- which connects you to the AT&T Operator. You can ask
- her to call the number collect as the charge to call
- the number has to be billed either to an AT&T calling
- card or as a collect call.
-
- The alternative is, send a message to me at address
- TDARCOS@ACCESS.DIGEX.COM, and I will call the number and
- ask them what their direct number is. Or send me your
- phone number and I'll ask them to call you.
