- I have one each of RRD40 and RRD42 CD-ROM drives. I'd like
- to connect one or both to a Macintosh Quadra 700, running system
- 7.0. I tried the Apple CD-ROM software, but the DEC CD-ROM's
- aren't recognized.
-
- Has anyone tried a DEC CD-ROM drive on a Macintosh with
- system 7.0? Is there a special Macintosh driver that would help?
- My goal is to use a DEC CD-ROM drive on the Quadra 700 as a
- server to distribute the system 7.1 update to 10 other Mac's on
- our local network.
-
- Please respond directly and I'll summarize for the net.
