  28. Indeed I checked that the UCX$LPD symbiont (ECO 2) not only fails to 
  29. respect the Fortran-style carriage control, but in fact inserts 
  30. *no* newlines at all into a (VMS) "FORTRAN" file when sending it 
  31. to a remote printer.

  33. (I hadn't imagined this, since the VAXC RTL does a reasonable job
  34.  at converting VMS carriage control attributes into "stream" format.)

  36. Another item to get to the developers ... if there only was a way!
  37. (Wrt another problem reported here last fall, I received a developer's reply
  38.  stating that they didn't receive my SPR.)
  39. It doesn't look like they're still reading vmsnet.networks.tcp-ip.ucx -
