  29. Depending on what he wants to do with the file, he may already have such a
  30. program.  It's called SYS$SYSTEM:MAIL.EXE.  This program will allow you do
  31. modify the forwarding address for any user (or even for aliases).  It allows
  32. you to set the personal name field for any user.  Combined with the SUBMIT/USER
  33. command, it allows you to set the mail directory for any user, or to zero that
  34. user's new mail count (though iusing if tor the latter is discouraged, as it
  35. requires that you move all of his real new mail to a different folder).

  41. Disclaimer:  Hey, I understand VAXen and VMS.  That's what I get paid for.  My
  42. understanding of astronomy is purely at the amateur level (or below).  So
  43. unless what I'm saying is directly related to VAX/VMS, don't hold me or my
  44. organization responsible for it.  If it IS related to VAX/VMS, you can try to
  45. hold me responsible for it, but my organization had nothing to do with it.
