  27. The only VMS version I can think of that ever got as high as a .7 was
  28. V4.7.  The units digit changes when there's a LOT of new stuff, and
  29. there is in V6.0.  Is there something that would require using up
  30. all the tenths digits?  (I must admit that I had little choice after
  31. releasing VAX FORTRAM V5.9...)  There never were plans for a VMS
  32. V5.7, and there was only brief discussion of using V5.6 for what will
  33. be V6.0.
