- You are quite correct. It asks the server what language to use and Unix
- servers tend not to support this.

- I run DECwindows Motif V1.1. Under that, I start up the session manager
- to display on the remote system, use the Options menu to customise the
- language to British English and then start up DECwrite. This has worked for
- me when running on an HP-UX system.
