- Hello --
-
- I know this is probably in the wrong place, but I can't find any
- other places to put this in.
-
- I am wondering if anyone knows of a service in Southern California
- region (Orange County vincinity preferably) in which a person can either
- access a VAX/VMS system or a system that can use Telnet so that way I will
- be able to log onto other universities/colleges across america. The
- linking would be occured by using a computer/modem and calling into the
- syetem. I would appreciate any information I can get pertaining to this.
-
- Currently I am using a service, CSUF (Cal State Univ Fullerton
- (I think)) but the problem is that the number is not reliable -- Sometimes
- it works when I call it, but most of the time it doesn't work. At times
- I have to use Telnet but then I can't get on CSUF which makes me call
- into the college directly and costs me a little bit more money on
- long distance charges.
-
- If anyone can help me on this, please send me e-mail soon! Thanks.
