  29. Not in the slightest!  It means what it says (read my lips:-).

  31. I'm antique enough to have seen unthinkable changes in price & size &
  32. performance & capacity on 'computers'.  12.5 years ago when we
  33. installed the PDP the disc capacity at the time was considered HUGE
  34. (yesterday I was told that we'd 'lost' half that original disc
  35. capacity in format/inode information on a disc that cost one tenth of
  36. the cost of the original discs & is 30+ times bigger).  17 serial
  37. lines was considered excessive.

  39. Thus I am in truth hugely entertained at the thought of 'wheeling out'
  40. the Good Old PDP to a well deserved and respected retirement, and
  41. wandering in with its replacement in my briefcase  :-)
