- Hi! I am teaching a course on Operating Systems at the Colorado School
- of Mines this semester. Since this is the first time I am teaching this
- course, I was hoping to get some suggestions from people who have taught
- it before. My primary objective is to make the course as interesting
- as possible. To this end, I am looking for projects that will give
- the students some hands-on experience about the concepts we shall learn
- about in class. If you have any suggestions on this matter, please
- send me email at mmisra@tektite.mines.colorado.edu. Thank you very
- much. Also, do you know if I could get a copy of the source code
- for Unix somewhere. It might be helpful if the students could play
- around with it--or at least, they would get to see the code of a
- real OS. Thanks again.
-
- Manav.
