- From article <1jnhfnINNn11@uwm.edu>, by tanith@csd4.csd.uwm.edu (Mike Kretzer):
- > I just received an upgrade form for Microsoft MASM 6.1. Does anyone
- > know if it will still run under OS/2 as an OS/2 application like
- > MASM 6.0?
-
- I also received a notice of the 6.1 upgrade available. What was my
- first response? I WROTE A LETTER ASKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT AN
- OS/2 COMPABLE VERSION.
-
- ALL PROGRAMMERS! Please do the same! If we send enough request to
- the MASM division of Microsoft, perhaps they will consider us real
- enough to be included in future releases. They give you a postage
- free envelope. Just add a note (preferrably on company letterhead)
- saying:
-
- "Thank you for the information concerning MASM 6.1. However, we are
- committed to supporting OS/2 environments. Would you please send me
- information on a 32 bit version of MASM supporting OS/2 2.0. Thank
- you."
