- I tried the sio/vsio drivers for a while as well. I had the best
- results if I made them last in config.sys and removed and reference to
- com/vcom.sys and mode statements.

- IOW remove, don't just rem, the com.sys and vcom.sys lines as well as the mode=
- statement. Seemed to work for me but I certainly won't guarantee anything.
