  11. Well, I downloaded and installed the beta yesterday. The installation
  12. went smoothly.

  14. Here's what I've found so far:

  16. The default settings for Autocad Release 9 (as created by the migrate
  17. programs thingy) use a windowed session for Autocad. (As if this is
  18. usable.) But when you run it windowed, it hangs the machine. C-A-D
  19. works, BUT (and here is the really strange part:) On the next boot
  20. (if a cold-reset is not done) OS/2 has no comprehension of my 
  21. SCSI disk. Boot-manager doesn't see the partitions, the d: and e: drives
  22. are invisible. Cold-boot brings everything back to normal.

  24. (My setup: 111M Maxtor IDE as C:, Ultrastor 14f using Int13 driver on
  25. D:, HPFS as D and Fat on E:.)

  27. Also, dir /r doesn't work; something about a syntax error, I think.

  29. The comm drivers seem to drop more characters at 19200 than before; I'll
  30. have to do some tests to make sure, though.

  32. (BTW, if someone could mail me with the details of how we beta-testers
  33. are supposed to report bugs, I'd appreciate it. Is IBM watching 
  34. this group? Or what?)
