- Hi, OS/2-Freaks,
-
- I've got a serious problem with my SyQuest 88MB
- removable cartridge disk drive and OS/2.
-
- There comes a driver SQDRIVER.SYS with the SyQuest-
- pack which has to be installed before using it.
-
- This driver works fine with DOS 5.0: the SyQuest-
- drive then is accessible with the letter D.
- While booting my system with the OS/2-bootmanager
- there appears the message: 1 SCSI DRIVE FOUND.
- I'am using the Seagate ST01 SCSI host adapter for
- this drive, but an IDE-controlled harddisk.
-
- I heard about a driver for the SyQuest drive
- especially for OS/2, which would cost about 90DM
- (about 58US$). That's much money for such a driver.
-
- I'm now interested, if there is another solution
- for this problem.
-
- Many thanks in advance.
-
-
- Ciao Markus
