  17. Due to the number of people calling The Cave/2 from outside Wellington, I 
  18. have modified the files permissions to allow first-time callers full access
  19. to file downloads.  I'm surprised how fast word has got out about Cave/2's
  20. file archive - and how far people will call to get at the latest files.

  22. Hmm, we're almost getting into alt.bbs.ads territory here.  Anyway, Cave/2
  23. has a Racal 3222 14400bps v32b/v42b modem for fast downloads, and first
  24. time callers should grab the usual ALLFILES.ZIP for a list of what's online.

  26. The system will be down over the next two days to install 2.1b, two new
  27. hard disks and a new display system.  If you call and get no answer, its 
  28. not dead, just very temporarily offline.
