- The Bay Area OS/2 User's Group had a special meeting at the Windows &
- OS/2 Conference in San Jose to hear Lee Reiswig. One the questions
- asked was about development kits (or lack thereof). He said the delay
- wasn't due to lack of intent on IBM's part, but due to legal problems
- with Microsoft. These problems are resolved and the golden masters have
- been cut with the first production kits shipping next week. Now, I may
- have misinterpreted which kit he meant assuming there's more than one),
- but the Microsoft part was quite definite. Has anyone else heard this?
- Sounds like the driver kit problem was Microsoft erecting every
- possible obstacle, not IBM.
