- I got rid of my speed problem by using IBM sounds instead of SoundBlaster
- [AdLib??] sounds. There has got to be a better solution than this.
-
- I have an additional question for running Civilization:
- When I run it under a full screen dos session, my pallette gets screwed up:
-
- This occurs when I run CIV in VGA mode and then one of the cities builds
- something, and I am sent back to the main map. All shades of green turn to
- a single shade of pink, and other colors change sothat the whole color
- scheme looks awful.
-
- If it matters: I have a Diamond SpeedSTAR 24X video card.
-
- Any comments on either the original question or my question would be greatly
- appreciated.
