- For the time being, try setting PRIORITY_DISK_IO=NO in your
- CONFIG.SYS. Basically, QmodemPro is a piece of crap. I am currently
- bitching John Friel and MSI out on a regular basis to try and get some
- of the garbage fixed. If I were you, I would start bitching them out
- on their CI$ address, if enough people do that, maybe we will not only
- get better performance under OS/2, but we will also be able to delete
- lines in emacs under VT220 emulation with HAVING THE STATUS LINE
- SCROLL UP WITH THE TEXT!!! (Yeah, they tested that pretty well,
- geesh!) And then maybe we can get Kermit to use a block size larger
- than 80 BYTES no matter what the settings are also...
