  33. Well... I may be too skeptical, but *I* allways thought that IBM and MS
  34. exist in order to make *money*. In order to achieve that goal they will do
  35. anything what law allows them to do. That is how things are going, right?

  37. Both MS and IBM are not saints or saving angels, they just happen to be 
  38. competing against each others in the PC field. For example, I think that
  39. the MS's claim that *I* could buy an off-the-shelf Windows NT in the beginning
  40. of 1993 was pure FUD which was intended to make me to sit and wait and not
  41. to buy UNIX or OS/2. I'm not even sure if MS people believed in that end-of-92
  42. release date themselves. If not, then it was a fine move. I even waited
  43. additional months for NT because of that announcement! :-) :-) :-) Maybe Philip
  44. Laforna or P. Skelly could inform us about the story. I do not think that
  45. they will answer, but do not be surprised if your favourite company spreads
  46. FUD when it suits it.
