  13. HELP!
  14. My computer keeps locking up using Windows 3.1!  Does anyone else have a
  15. problem where one is using windows and the computer just locks up as it is
  16. or as it writes/reads a file from the hard disk (I have a 200MB IDE drive)?

  18. I am using a 386/25 DX chip with an AMI BIOS (1989) and the motherboard oper
  19. ates with 0 wait state and I have an expansion memory board from Boca Research
  20. that operates with 0 wait state.

  22. DOS is in the high memory area, I do not use an extended memory manager,
  23. I have two programs (FASTOPEN and KEYB.COM) 'LOADEDHIGH' and I have 4 devices
  24. in 'DEVICEHIGH' in CONFIG.SYS.  Do I need an extended memory manager for these
  25. to work properly?  I have all of my memory set in extended so I use it in
  26. windows but the computer keeps locking up!
