- I have the exact problem, also. I'm running w/ an Oak VGA card. I spoke
- to Microsoft about this and they said that it is a board incompatability
- problem. They said their "generic' supervga.drv could not possibly
- support every vga card on the market.

- I even tried running w/ Oak drivers (from Oak Technology) get horrible
- performance in 640x480, cannot run MS-DOS in 800x600, and cannot even
- run 1024x768 mode at all. So their drivers are no better (even a little
- worse) than Microsofts!! So basically, I'm outta luck, unless Oak
- redoes their drivers or I get a new video board.
