  14. Can I load Win3.1 into two different directories, each within its
  15. own setup, as though the other directory  containing the other Win
  16. setup doesn't exist? Or will there be some conflict, but with
  17. proper care one can attend to these conflicts by choice of
  18. judicious settings in .ini files etc. Or it just can't be done , or
  19. is toooooo much trouble.

  21. I have a beta of a newer version of a program that I now run under
  22. win3.1. I don't want to load the beta in place of the older stable
  23. version of the program because I need it for regular production
  24. work. But I do want to run the beta as well. So I want to create
  25. another Win3.1 setup in another directory just to run this beta
  26. application and so it does not mess up my regular win3.1 directory
  27. etc.
