  13. I'm having a "little" problem with my new Pc and Excel 4.0

  15. My machine:

  17. 486 DX50
  18. 256 Kb cache
  19. 8Mb Ram
  20. 210 Mb Hd
  21. Dos 5.0
  22. Windows 3.1
  23. Excel 4.0
  24. Stacker 2.0 (<= can this be the problem???)

  26. Excel used to work fine with my old 386sx 16, but now I get these
  27. "Excel caused a general protection fault in module Excel.exe in .........".
  28. Then Excel terminates, and zap....! I've had this error in some of the other
  29. applications too (Calculator, Winclock etc), but Excel is "the favourite".

  31. My suspision is that it's my Stacker 2.0 (both Windows and Excel are on the
  32. stacker-drive) that causes these problems. I'm now waiting for the new version of
  33. Stacker (3.0). But if these problems continues, I'm freaking out!!!

  35. Is there anybody with similar experiences or can anybody tell me what I'M
  36. doing wrong????????
