- I have finally decided that I am going to have to purchase a C/C++
- compiler. The question is, which one?
-
- I was originally planning to buy Microsoft C/C++, as I have TPW and thus
- all the Borland tools, and could do with the debug kernel (not to
- mention the file compressor).
-
- I only have the money to buy an education edition. I have heard that the
- Microsoft C/C++ 7.0 education pack is without the SDK, API manuals etc.
- Can someone confirm this? What is and isn't there?
-
- Also, what's the exact difference between Borland C++ and Borland C++
- with Application Frameworks? Is it;
- a) The former comes sans Class Libraries;
- b) The former has container class libraries, but not Turbo
- Vision or ObjectWindows;
- or; c) The former has the headers and libraries for TV and OWL, but
- not the source;
-
- adTHANKSvance;
