  15. Help!!!  I recently purchased a 2400bd internal modem and I can't get it to 
  16. work.  I have it configured to COM2 (mouse is on com1).  The problem is
  17. every time I try to dial my computer freezes and I have to reboot.  I have a
  18. disk controller card that has a serial port labeled COM2, I think this could
  19. be the conflict, but I don't know how to correct it.  (the board is VERY
  20. generic, I have no idea who makes it)  Just in case, my configuration is as
  21. follows:
  22.     386/40 64k catche
  23.     Diamond Stealth VRAM video card
  24.     8 megs RAM
  25.     DOS 5.0    
  26.     Windows 3.1 (using Terminal to dial)
  27. ANY help would be VERY appreciated.  Thanks.
