- Help!!! I recently purchased a 2400bd internal modem and I can't get it to
- work. I have it configured to COM2 (mouse is on com1). The problem is
- every time I try to dial my computer freezes and I have to reboot. I have a
- disk controller card that has a serial port labeled COM2, I think this could
- be the conflict, but I don't know how to correct it. (the board is VERY
- generic, I have no idea who makes it) Just in case, my configuration is as
- follows:
- 386/40 64k catche
- Diamond Stealth VRAM video card
- 8 megs RAM
- DOS 5.0
- Windows 3.1 (using Terminal to dial)
- ANY help would be VERY appreciated. Thanks.
