  14. DEC 425C PC, DEC Pathworks 4.1, DEC supplied windows 3.1. VMS server.

  16. I created a lad disk with all the windows files from running setup/a.

  18. Then I created another lad disk read/write, attached it, and then tried to
  19. run setup/n from that.

  21. It's dying and choking right at the first part of setup, with the following:

  23. Setup Error #S019

  25. Setup cannot create the file WIN.COM, which
  26. it needs to set up Windows.  Setup cannot 
  27. continue, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

  30. I can't figure out why.  All the drives it's trying to access are
  31. writable, and I don't have any other problems with them.

  33. The only thing of note is that I'm using DEC's version of the Windows
  34. disks.
