  33. Oh geez, yeah.. don't go rushing out to find the magazine.. here's how you
  34. do it:

  36. 1. Open the Program Manager window
  37. 2. Hold down the left shift and control keys  (and keep holding them)
  38. 3. Select HELP|ABOUT (keep holding those keys)
  39. 4. Double click on the yellow patch of the Windows logo in the upper left
  40. corner of the about screen
  41. 5. Click on the OK button to close the about window
  42. 6. Select HELP|ABOUT again (keep holding shift & ctrl)
  43. 7. Click on the yellow patch again -- the first "secret" goodie will appear
  44. 8. Say "ooh" and "aaahh"
  45. 9. Click on the Ok button again to close the about box (keep holding them keys
  46. down)
  47. 10. Select HELP|ABOUT a third time
  48. 11. Double click on the yellow patch again -- the second goodie will appear
  49.  
  50. Repeat the whole sequence a couple of times to see the variations.

  52. I didn't read that article, so this may be a different secret thing than
  53. what they are talking about;  I've heard there are more.  A Mac-user, of all
  54. people, told me about this one last year when 3.1 was first released...
