  34. I can't say for certain, but I wouldn't think so.  The ASPI driver
  35. should take care of the buffering for you; mine does (AHA-1740 +
  36. ASPIEDOS).

  42. You don't NEED it, but it will still help (or so I would think).  The
  43. thing here is that some people running without ASPI drivers have to
  44. run SMARTDRV double buffered just to get their machines to run.
