- I can't say for certain, but I wouldn't think so. The ASPI driver
- should take care of the buffering for you; mine does (AHA-1740 +
- ASPIEDOS).

- You don't NEED it, but it will still help (or so I would think). The
- thing here is that some people running without ASPI drivers have to
- run SMARTDRV double buffered just to get their machines to run.
