- I seem to have a problem that happens about 60% of times I run Windows.
- The problem is that display get corrupted with usally black dots that start
- appering in random points in different windows on the screen. If I then do
- anything more dots appear, if I move the windows a lot of dots appear.
-
- If I completely turn the machine off and on this will sometimes fix it.
-
- I thought I could be my memory manager(QEMM) so I tried the memory manager that
- came with DRDos and it does the same thing. I have tried excluding all the
- areas that I know are video ram and that does not help.
-
- I have following hardware:
-
- 486/33 with AMI bios
- 8 meg of RAM
- Soundblater Card
- TSENG 4000 (Generic) VGA with 1 meg and HiColor chip set
- using the Turbo TSENG driver from cica.
-
-
- Does anyone know anything to try?????
