- I was just wondering what you netters think of WPWIN 5.2.
- More specifically, I have these two questions:
-
- (1) Is it still buggy? Since I haven't heard much about this
- in the newsgroups, I'm assuming that it isn't. I remember
- when WPWIN 5.1 came out and there was a lot of talk here
- about the various bugs.
-
- (2) Does it still make your 486 feel like a 286? Did they speed
- up the program so that it now runs at a reasonable speed?
-
- I'm a student right now and the official word processor here is WP 5.1
- so please don't say something like "Dump WP! WFW 2.0/AmiPro 3.0
- is eons better!" I do a lot of group projects so WP 5.1 compatibility
- is my #1 concern. Believe me, if the program was something other than
- WP, I would have dumped it long ago.
-
- Thanks for replying via email.
