- I'm starting a subproject related to installing Lotus NOTES in
- our four workgroup, 200 member organization. The subproject involves
- capturing the current flow of work through the various stages of
- creation, coordination, approval and release. The goal is to replace
- current assumptions about how work is accomplished with fact
- based diagrams so senior managers can make informed decisions
- related to reorganizing and to take advantage of NOTES capability.
-
- To support this subproject, I need a tool to help me diagram the
- workflows. A project manager program like MS Project doesn't do it
- because Project is linear time based -- you can't loop back. I think
- what I'm looking for is an automated version of a programmers flow
- charting template -- the ones with various squares, triangles, etc.
- Would be helpful if the product took advantage of the Windows
- environment, permitting use of a pointing device to establish
- relationships, etc.
-
- Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. E-mail preferred and
- I'll summarize if requested. Thanks in advance.
