  12. Soft-ICE/W is a low-level debugging tool, which pretty much does the
  13. same operations as WDEB386.EXE, the advanced debugger included
  14. with MSC7. While wdeb386 is run over a serial port and is line-based,
  15. Soft-ICE/W swaps to the text screen for its windowed user interface.

  17. These tools are useful when you are investigating what goes on in
  18. the Windows environment, rather than staying inside your program.
  19. Some basic familiarity with assembly language is probably required
  20. to use these tools successfully.
