  38.      I didn't use the Paste Link command.  I used a simple Paste (via 
  39. Cntrl Insert) command and WFW forced the Paste Special instead of the 
  40. simple Paste command.  Also, the problem was not the link but that it 
  41. was pasted as an Excel object.  Still, thanks for the response.
