  13. I'm a UNIX programmer with experience sending data from background
  14. processes to databases, such as Ingres and Oracle, via the programmatic
  15. embedded SQL feature of those products.

  17. Does anyone have any opinions/advice on performing the same function
  18. on a DOS system?  Specifically,

  20.         a) A database with good APIs suited for this purpose?

  22.         b) Which C compiler to use with that database?

  24.         c) Is there a database server product, and what are its
  25.            advantages/disadvantages?
