- I would like to speed up my disk access intensive application with the
- use of the IDE Caching Controller(Promise Technolegies' Super IDE DC-99).
-
- Currently, I'm using a software caching program (Hyperdisk) with good
- results, but my application is VERY disk intensive - I need something
- even faster. I'm wondering kind of futher performance gains I can
- achieve - is it really worth it to spend $300?
-
- I would appreciate some helpful responses.
-
- Thanks
