  15. Believe it.  Adaptec is one of the "good guys" who believe that telling
  16. people how to use their hardware might actually allow them to sell more.
  17. Complete programming details for all their SCSI adapters are available to
  18. anyone *free* on their BBS.  That's probably the main reason that the 1540
  19. family is so widely supported.
