- I am interested in purchasing a 486 system and was wondering if
- one could have more than one disk controller in a PC system of
- different types. For example, if the package comes with a 200Meg
- IDE drive with dual FD connections, could I use another slot later
- and drop in a SCSI controller in and use SCSI HD/tape drive/CD-ROM,
- or would I have to remove the IDE controller & disk? This would help
- me decide whether to upgrade now or later.
-
- Thanks,
-
