  13. only right for me to respond in kind and in public.

  22. When we get down to the technical issue, I agree that it _may_ be
  23. easier on users to split out `extras of limited interest'.  But a
  24. problem with further splitting the b? and c? series is that SLS is
  25. useful to a very diverse user population.  Defining `limited interest'
  26. is quite difficult -- to the point that, were I Peter, I would have
  27. little motive even to try.  Imagine the disagreements about whose
  28. interests are limited and whose are general.
