  11. I have had from time to time:

  13. The shelves of bookstores are rife with volumes devoted to assembly lang.
  14. programming with Borland and Msoft DOS assemblers, but where is documented
  15. the issues involved in Unix assembly programming?

  17. Sure, the Intel 80x86s all use the same instruction set (which is well
  18. documented in Intel liturature), but Coho _as_ uses a different 
  19. vocabulary from Turbo Assembler, for example.

  21. I guess what I am asking for is a good introductory reference book on assembly
  22. language programming for the 80x86 that is not DOS specific, but rather is
  23. aimed at the type of assembler that _as_ is related to.
