  10. I am connecting two pc's both running coherent 4.0.0 through
  11. the serial ports. using both kermit and ckermit connect to 
  12. the respective pc just fine BUT when I run an application
  13. that trys to display GRAPHIC characters the characters are
  14. displayed as normal text. Example instead of displaying a horizontal
  15. line character it displays a capital M. the only difference
  16. between these two characters is the most significant bit of the
  17. character. Why is kermit and ckermit always setting this bit
  18. to ZERO! My question is how can I tell kermit and ckermit NOT
  19. to set this bit to zero????

  21. NOTE: I tried stty -Istrip and it made no difference...
