- I am connecting two pc's both running coherent 4.0.0 through
- the serial ports. using both kermit and ckermit connect to
- the respective pc just fine BUT when I run an application
- that trys to display GRAPHIC characters the characters are
- displayed as normal text. Example instead of displaying a horizontal
- line character it displays a capital M. the only difference
- between these two characters is the most significant bit of the
- character. Why is kermit and ckermit always setting this bit
- to ZERO! My question is how can I tell kermit and ckermit NOT
- to set this bit to zero????
-
- NOTE: I tried stty -Istrip and it made no difference...
