- Hmmmmm...... Verrrrrrrry strange. I've got my modem on a port that is
- permanently disabled, and I use the standard Coherent uucp package.
- AND, I've never had this problem. Wonder what I did right?

- Ah, I just took a quick peek at my /etc/ttys file, and saw that the
- port the modem is on is not listed there. Do you suppose that has
- something to do with it?
